Our little boy, Woods, was born 4.1.13 and since he first came into the world, he's been fighting like no one I've ever met. Woods has overcome more challenges in just a few weeks than most people do in many years of life. We are smitten and in love with this little gentleman and were thrilled to design and press these 2/0 Birth Announcements, which were done in a vintage fighting promotions poster-style and completed with the Woods family coat of arms.

Tales of the Pressroom: our Blog

The tradition of letterpress printing dates back to the 1500s, when large, bulky cast iron presses were the only way to print the written language. Laboring over small pieces of lead type by candle side in a dimly lit room, letters became words and words became sentences, and ideas began to spread from people to people. While we integrate different technologies into letterpress to make it more efficient, we still mix inks by hand, compose type, but we do it in a well-lit pressroom.
